Our work culture

There are many good reasons why you should choose a working life at GEUS.

At GEUS, you work with skilled and committed people who contribute to and support the work with geological knowledge and research, so that GEUS can continue to conduct geological research to the highest international level. We make data and knowledge available and advise authorities and businesses, and our work supports the green transition. This is part of why our work is meaningful and exciting.
We are ambitious - and even when we are busy, we help each other to ensure high quality in the solving of our tasks, because we take responsibility for ourselves and each other. Cooperation and sparring are characteristic elements of the work at GEUS, and since we are an international and versatile group of employees, it is very useful to talk to each other, across departments and functions, too. Our diversity is valuable and strengthens GEUS as a whole by providing access to different perspectives and angles, amongst many other things.

We get on well together - outside of professional matters, too. It is fruitful both professionally and on a personal level, because it creates a good foundation for a constructive and trusting dialogue. We strive to make each other better, and we respect each other's skills and time. This makes GEUS a nice place to be.

We are proud of a work culture where trust and flexibility are keywords, when it comes to where and when we work as well. At GEUS, the general well-being of employees is supported by giving each individual employee space and the opportunity to create a balance between life at and outside of work. We fully understand that everyone has obligations and interests outside of the workplace.

We make it a high priority that you as a new employee receive a good and thorough introduction course. Read more about being new at GEUS by clicking here.
